TASE.2 test tools

Verify your IEC 60870-6 TASE.2 compliance and troubleshoot your product at any time
IEC 60870-6 TASE.2 (or the Inter-Control Centre Communications Protocol – ICCP) is an international standard for exchanging data between control centres, utilities, power pools and generators. Compliance is a key factor in ensuring telecontrol systems are interoperable. To minimise the cost and time for bringing new systems and components to market, it’s invaluable to be able to check compliance at every stage of development.
An easy-to-use solution
To help you do just that, DNV GL offers TASE.2 test tools for “DIY ” testing. Based on our deep knowledge of standardised communication protocols and architectures such as the UNICA, these easy-to-use software solutions allow you to check TASE.2 compliance throughout the development process but also during operations. So you can spot and resolve any issues early for more efficient product creation and solve problems during the operational phase.
Analyse and simulate
Two products are currently available.
- TASE.2 analyser
- Identify and minimise interoperability risks in current TASE.2 networks
- Roll out new products faster by verifying performance through development
- TASE.2 test simulator
- Establish a TASE.2 link with your TASE.2 server
- Simulate traffic to test your application
- Verify your configuration
All IEC 60870-6 TASE.2 standard procedures are supported, and official test plans are seamlessly integrated. What’s more, the well-designed graphical user interface and built-in protocol intelligence make troubleshooting, active testing, protocol development, factory testing and site acceptance testing easier and faster than ever.
The flexible TASE.2 analyser and test simulator come with a Service Level Agreement and full support. This gives you access to years of relevant in-house knowledge and experience. Furthermore, we regularly implement customised functionalities based on client requests, and will update the tools for future editions.
